Red-eye Removal
The red-eye effect in photography is the common appearance of red pupils in color photographs of eyes. It occurs when using a photographic flash very close to the camera lens (as with most compact cameras), in ambient low light. The red-eye effect appears in the eyes of humans and animals.

This tool helps you to automatically remove red eyes. Make a rough selection of the red eyes. The Red-eye Removal tool uses a red eye detection algorithm to automatically detect and correct the red eyes.

1. Do one of the following:
 Choose Tools > Red-eye Removal

Click the Red-eye Removal button
2. Use the following options:
  Threshold
This option allows you to adjust the red threshold value. The higher the red threshold value the more red is included in the red-eye detection.

Min = 1, Max = 128, Default = 50.
  Black
Use this option to adjust the amount of black used to replace the red color of the pupils.

Min = 0, Max = 100, Default = 50.
  Show red areas in the image
This option allows you to show a preview of the red areas included in the red-eye detection but which are not identified as being red eyes.
  Eye Color
This option allows you to choose the color of the person's eyes. This changes the replacement color so that when Pop Art Studio fills the pupil with black, it is tinged with the actual eye color. This makes the eye look more natural.
