| The Color and Texture tool allows you to fill the image or a selection with a solid brush, a hatch brush or texture brush. |

| 1. | Do one of the following: |

| 2. | Use the following options: |

| Select the foreground color and background color. In the drop-down list choose a hatch style. There are 54 unique hatch styles. The foreground color defines the color of the lines; the background color defines the color of gaps between the lines.

| Open the image that contains the texture that you want to use to create a brush.
