Create a Color Accent |
The color accent example shows you how to quickly and easily highlight one color in a photograph while leaving the rest black and white. |
Step 1: Open an image |
Open an image. In the menu click File > Open > File (Ctrl+O). |
Step 2: Select the Effect Brush tool |
For quick and less precise results you can use the Color Accent effect. For more control and better results you can use the Effect Brush tool. Select the Effect Brush tool and adjust the brush hardness and brush size. In the dropdown list choose the grayscale effect. Now you are able to 'paint' the grayscale effect on the area of the image you want to turn black and white. |
Step 3: Add Text Art to your image |
Having achieved a great looking color accent effect, it's time to add the text. Select a text style from the Text Art Panel and move your text to the right position. Press the right mouse button and click 'Apply to Background'. |
